Booth Layout
The Lexus booth theme will be “Pushing the Boundaries of the Electrified Experience” and will debut its next-generation battery electric vehicle (BEV) concept model lineup, with the aim of transforming into a BEV brand by 2035. The booth prominently features the use of traditional Japanese aesthetics and environmentally friendly, sustainable bamboo material, expressing the brand’s commitment to achieving a carbon-neutral society. Daihatsu is renowned in Japan for its compact, fun, and practical vehicles, is renowned locally for its compact, fun, and practical vehicles. Daihatsu’s exhibit at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 is centered on the theme of “Staying Close to Our Customers and Enriching Their Lives.” The company reinforces its commitment to aligning its offering with the ever-evolving needs of its customers.
Showcase Vehicle
A high-performance sports BEV model proposed as one of the options for sports cars in the carbon-neutral era, incorporating the expertise gained in TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s efforts to make ever-better cars through motorsports. It uses a bright blue color for interior contrast to the exterior orange brown to create a sporty and futuristic interior. Video Gaming elements are applied in the cockpit interior design aswell to create a fun space.
A next-generation BEV concept model that will enrich customers’ daily lives with new driving experiences and personalized services powered by innovative technologies. The FT-3e’s interior is full of straight lines, with the center touchscreen and digital instrument panel supplemented by a pair of iPhone-like screens on either side of the steering wheel. There are also two screens on the outer edges of the dashboard, which appear to be displays for sideview-mirror-replacing cameras. Nearly all physical controls appear to havebeen shunned. The overall aura is airy and light and features a modern mix of interesting materials and textures.
The Nissan Hyper Punk, wrapped in a functional and stylish body style, is an all-electric compact cross overtailored for content creators, influencers, artists, and those who embrace style and innovation. Inside, origami-styled elements mirror Japanese taste and create an interior space where digital and art are fused together. For example, the on board cameras can capture the scenery around the car and use AI to convert to manga-style scenery or graphic patterns according to the owner’s preferences. The imagery can then be projected on a three-screen display arranged around the driver in the cockpit, creating a space where reality and the world of the metaverse are fused together.
The Nissan Hyper Force is designed for racing enthusiasts and gamers who crave the adrenaline rush of the racetrack but are also eco-conscious. An all-electric, high-performance supercar, it aims to deliver the ultimate in driving pleasure combined with high environmental performance and comfort for daily use.
Showcase Vehicle: Mazda Iconic SP Concept
MAZDA ICONIC SP is a new type of compact sports car concept, designed to adopt to the new era and respond to the emotions of customers who “love cars” and “desire a car that simply embodies the joy of driving”. The exterior body color “VIOLA RED” was created based on Mazda’s desire to “cherish the color red” and in conjunction with Mazda’s corporate philosophy of “enriching life-in-motion for those we serve.“ With the interior Mazda took a minimalistic approach. The kakenui stitching first seen on the CX-90 SUV appears on the Iconic SP concept’s dashboard and door panels, and the seats wear biofabric upholstery.
The me:MO is a sustainable mini passenger battery electric vehicle (BEV) with a style and sense of enjoyment that can be adapted to different stages of life~. The theme is “redefining the relationship between cars and people.” A completely new form that considered the manufacturing and sense of enjoyment of cars from zero. It is possible to change not only the design but also the form of the vehicle by constructing a modular structure of interior and exterior parts with necessary and sufficient functionality. This enabled us to realize a sustainable car that can be used for a long time in response to changes in the customer’s stage of life and usage.
